Union Street Bistro & Bistro Catering & Events is a locally owned and operated family business that is located in historic downtown Concord, NC and is owned by Robin and Anthony Honeycutt. They live nearby with their children Tyler, Chelsea, Hannah and Carley. Union Street Bistro began operations in 1999 as a full service restaurant. A banquet room with a capacity of 100 was added in 2006 and the Tuscan Bistro Bar with a capacity of 30 was added in 2007. The catering division was added in 2009 which includes on and off site catering services, event planning, contract cafeteria management, and vending services for corporate accounts.
The restaurant name was chosen as everyone associates Union Street with the historic downtown area of businesses and social gatherings, and Bistro for the exquisite European style cuisine that is offered.
Union Street Bistro prides itself with family and team member ideals. Skyler Bailes, (Executive Chef) and kitchen staff are well known for their wide variety of handcrafted dishes and specials that are certain to please while Alan Bishop (VP of operations) and catering staff offer top rate catering services known for their expertise in this field throughout Concord and the surrounding area.
